Vice Chairman Over Girlfriend.

Specialists at the General Hospital, Shomolu, Lagos, are doing combating to spare the life of the Vice Chairman, National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Palm Grove branch, who was supposedly wounded by one of his individuals, Tuesday night, over a sweetheart.

Two suspects, Ayodele Muyiwa and James Friday, asserted to have completed the assault, have been captured by police are as yet being confined at Shomolu Division.

Vanguard accumulated that the primary suspect, Ayodele Muywa, has been having a fight with the casualty, distinguished essentially as Omotunde, whom he blamed for grabbing his sweetheart.

“When Muyiwa came to the park on Tuesday, he engaged Omotunde in a quarrel, accusing him of snatching his girlfriend to spite him because he was rich.
They started exchanging words. In the process, Muyiwa carried a plank with which he threatened to hit Omotunde. He bent down and dared Muyiwa to carry out his threat, but he did not.
At night, Muyiwa stormed the park in the company of another person to attack Omotunde. They beat him, stabbed him in the stomach and left.”

As at yesterday, a few followers of the harmed man were ruining for a battle. Vanguard assembled that to keep a free-for-all, supporters to the principle suspects were kept from gathering tolls from drivers at the recreation center.

Preparatory examination, as per police sources, uncovered that the principle suspect had before been captured for being in control of a weapon amid the union’s decision.

He was purportedly taken to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, SCIID, Yaba, however was later discharged. Affirming the occurrence, representative for the Lagos State Police Command, Olarinde Famous-Cole, said examination had initiated.
